Description: The use of e-cigarettes/vaping among teens has become a public health crisis which has the potential to create another generation addicted to nicotine! This webinar will provide an overview of e-cigarettes/vaping and the associated health concerns. Participants will learn about what the different devices look like, and to consider what messaging teens relate to in educational programs or advocacy campaigns to help them to quit. Attending this webinar will provide the pediatric nurse with nursing considerations regarding these nicotine delivery devices.
Outcome: Participants will understand the dangers of vaping and e cigarettes and incorporate screening strategies for the use of vaping devices /nicotine delivery system use into their practice
