Description: This webinar will assist the pediatric nurse in reviewing the pathophysiology of diabetes (with a focus on T1DM) and move on to recognizing symptoms of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia and the causes of hypo and hyperglycemia and how to treat each. The webinar will also review the most up-to-date diabetes technology available for the pediatric population.
Outcome: Participants will be able to identify signs, symptoms, causes, and treatment of hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia in diabetes.
